The show of Impression Liu Sanjie can be regarded as one highlight of Yangshuo tour. It is a night show which you’ve never seen. This is a virtual scenery performance. The largest difference from other shows is the water & hill scenery theater. It uses the waters of Li River as the stage, 12 hills as background. With the vast sky, it consists of the largest virtual scenery theatre in the world. The show of Impression Liu Sanjie is directed by domestic famous director Mr Zhang Yimou and created by 67 domestic and overseas outstanding artists. The show is created according to a well-known folk tale of Zhuang, about the Queen of Folk Song in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. This story was made into movie in Yangshuo in 1961. After that, it is popular and widely known in China, even Southeast Asia. Tourist might not see the plots and figures in the newly-made show of Impression Liu Sanjie, but they could catch a series of impression from the hills and water in Yangshuo as well as the local people’s life while they are seeing the original singing and dancing by more than 600 performers. Most of them are the fishermen in the nearby villages. They work on Li River at daytime and take part-time job at night. 

A light boat slowly passed over the water, and a song by Sister Liu Sanjie started the prelude to the performance.
