Bangao Shui Minority Village
Bangao Shui Ethnic Village 板告水寨 is located in Sandong Township, south-central part of Sandu Shui Autonomous County, Guizhou Province. Lying 30 kilometers away from the county seat, the village has a total of 289 households with 1,424 people, separated by 7 natural villages, and the Shui nationality people accounts for more than 98% of the village population.Bangao Shui Ethnic Village has a pure and mysterious national culture. Crafts such as horsetail embroidery, silver jewelry and horn carvings are finely crafted and unique in craftsmanship. It is known as the "first village of Chinese Shui minority horsetail embroidery".
