Bamao Shui Ethnic Village


Bamao Shui Ethnic Village is located in Sanhe Town,  6 kilometers away from the county seat of the Sandu Shui Autonomous County,Guizhou Province.
Bamao Shui Ethnic Village is a natural village that was built in the Qing Dynasty(1644-1911). So far, the village still maintains the ancient simple  custom of  the Shui Minority with  its writting in Shui etnic character, speaking in Shui ethnic language, wearing Shui style clouths. So, the village is an important microcosm of the Shui ethnic culture. There are 78 households in the Bamagu village built on the mountain, the wooden buildings are connnected together,  row upon row. In front of the village, there are rice fields where  a crystal stream runs around the village, What a wonderful picture!
