Liuzhou East Gate City Tower is a well-preserved monument in Liuzhou City. About 500 meters away from Liuhou Park,It is located at the northern end of Wenhui Bridge on Shuguang East Road in Chengzhong District of Liuzhou City. 

The East Gate City Tower was built during the Emperor Hongwu Period of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The height of the building is 17 meters. The base is made of stone and the city is made of blue brick. There are two floors on the city gate. The cylindrical arches in the pavilion are simple and generous; the frame screens have beautiful floral carvings.

The East Gate Tower is opened to visitors all year round. Ascending the tower, you can see the Liujiang River, the mountains stand upside down, however it is refreshing.
