Longtan National Forest Park


Longtan National Forest Park is located 18km northwest from Guiping City, Guangxi  Zhuang Autonomous Region. With a total area of 7103.1 hectares, it was rated as a national 4A tourist attraction in 2012.

The park preserves a complete south subtropical monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forest area, which contains rare and rare flora and fauna. There are also odd peaks, strange rocks, canyons, streams, waterfalls, and quiet ponds. They together constitute a colorful and original natural landscape, which has high tourism value and scientific research value.

In the park, Longtan Waterfall with 300-meter high and Longtan Canyon are the essence of the scenic area. Entering the park, you can walk along the boardwalk to the observation deck and enjoy the magnificent view of Longtan Waterfall. The rocks surrounding the cliff are arranged neatly, which look like a stone city wall. In addition, the scenery of ancient trees and hieroglyphs is also worth seeing.
