Zhenwu Pavilion


Zhenwu Pavilion, built 1573( the 1st Emperor Wanli during the Ming Dynasty), stands on a stone platform on the north bank of the Xiujiang River in the east of Rong County of Guangxi Province.

Looking up from the tower, you can see the vast plain  and the southeast mountains standing tall and magnificent as far away which crosses on the south river bank. The pavilion itself is 13 meters high, and the platform is nearly 20 meters high, which is also the object of viewing in the surrounding area. 
 
Jingluetai Platform was built in 759 during the Tang Dynasty. Mr. Yuan Jie, one of the famous poets in the Tang Dynasty, once  acted as the government official in Rongxian County and he set up a strategy platform in the east of Rongxian County to train soldiers and watch the scenery.

With three floors, Zhenwu Pavilion is a completely wooden structure building, which is one of the top attractions in Rongxian County, as well as in Yulin City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.  In virtue of the ingenious structure, Zhenwu Pavilion, is listed among the four famous towers in South China.
