Wuzhou Zhongshan Park


Wuzhou Zhongshan Park was originally called Beishan, and was called Chashan in the ancient times. It is located in the center of Wuzhou. Built in 1925 , Zhongshan Park is the oldest park in Wuzhou City.
 
Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is located on the top of the north hill of Zhongshan Park.  In preparation for the Northern Expedition, Mr. Sun Yat-sen once came to Wuzhou three times from 1921 to 1922. On March 12, 1925, after Sun Yat-sen's death in Beijing, Li Jishen, director of the aftermath division of Wuzhou, proposed to raise funds to build the Zhongshan Memorial Hall in Beishan. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on January 29, 1926. It was completed in October 1930. It is the earliest built Zhongshan Memorial Hall in China and a national key cultural relics protection unit.

The zoo in Zhongshan Park has a wide variety of tigers, leopards, monkeys and birds. Snake Fun Garden is a collection of watching, purchasing and tasting snake meat and snake products. Beiyuan on the top of the mountain is the garden in the garden. The park is framed by mountains, with lush forests, lush flowers, neat greenery, and winding paths, all kinds of scenery are integrated into a single system.
