Nanhua Miao Village
Nanhua Miao Village is situated on the riverside of Bala River in Sankeshu Town, 16 kilometers away from Kaili City, Southeatern Guizhou Province.

Nanhua Miao Village is established nearby a leafy mountain. Diaojiaolou, also known as "the stilt house or the hanging house", is setting randomly in village set-off with dense trees.Compared to other Miao villages, such as Qianhu Miao, Nanhua Miao village is less in business atmosphere relatively but a tranquil small village in farm society.

The old and solemn welcome etiquette is maintain to nowadays since hundreds years ago in Nanhua Miao village, including a toasting on the village entering road, a toasting in the front of village gate and a toasting before entering house. There is Wind and Rain Bridge crossing Bala river connecting Nanhua village and outside world, named as “Nan Flower Bridge”.
Miao costumes of Nanhua Miao minority is featuring as a kind long pleated skirt which is about 80cm length, thus Nanhua Miao is also called as “Long skirt Miao”. The silver article of Nanhua Miao is a pattern of ox horn in around 100cm length which is the distinct symbol of Nanhua Miao from other Miao groups.
