Dujuan Mountain

Visitors need to take cable car to get to there because there is not path to reach Dujuan Mountain. It takes about 25 minutes one way cable car. On the cable car, it overlooks the green mountains stacked below, and the scenery is amazing. Especially when the rhododendron blooms, there is a sea of flowers under your feet.

There are three stops on the rope-way. Among them, the middle stop is a large one-hundred-degree turn. It is a little breathtaking. After passing the middle stop, you can see the outline of theDujuan Mountain. Starting from the upper rope-way station, you can walk along the wooden walkway.The road is very good, you can enjoy the scenery along the way.

The hanging boardwalk is directly opposite the Bijiashan Canyon. There are 5 viewing platforms along the road, which can be seen from the back of Five-finger Peak and Bijiashan Canyon. Among them, there are several hundred-meter-high peaks around the observation deck No. 5 on the east-most side. From the viewpoint, you can see Peacock Peak and Stalagmite Peak from a distance. Along the road, there are several pictographic stones, such as the General Stone and the Golden Rooster Stone, which look really good.

Around the No.5 viewing platform, you can see a complex of pines and Ten-mile Azalea Promenade" if you go there in April and May. Walking along the trail, you fell as if walk in the ocean of azaleas. There are many varieties of rhododendrons here. One of the most worth seeing is the "Azalea Promenade King" near Yangmei Peak. It is a super-large monkey-headed rhododendron. 44 rhododendrons surround an umbrella-shaped pine tree. The tree is over 1,000 years old.
