After breakfast, our guide will meet you at hotel lobby at confirmed time. The first stop is Tian’anmen Square, the largest downtown city square in the world. And the square held the founding ceremony of new China in Oct 1st, 1949. Continue walking you will arrive at entry of Forbidden City which used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties. 24 emperors used to live in here. As the world’s largest and best-preserved wooden structured palace complex, Forbidden City is listed among the top five palaces in the world. Then pay a short visit to Silk Market and head to Temple of Heaven. It’s a place where emperors went each year at fixed day to worship for heaven and pray for agricultural harvest. Surrounding Temple of Heaven there are a few other buildings built in the past to prepare item needing for worshiping and prayer. Then you will enjoy lunch and pay a short visit to a Pearl Market. After that, continue the tour to Summer Palace. It is the largest existed imperial garden in China. Ending the tour here and you will be escorted to airport for night flight to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian, local driver will be waiting you at terminal by holding a board with your name and transfer you to hotel.

Day 4: Xian

Today you will venture outside the city, touring the wonders of Terracotta Warriors and Horses with over 6,000 painted life-size warriors and horses in battle-ranked formations and Xian Art Ceramics Factory. In the afternoon, take a walk on the top of the Ancient City Walls which is an ideal way to admire this ancient capital city. 

Note: tonight you can add on a Tang Dynasty dancing show that takes you back to the Emperor's Palace during the Tang Dynasty.

Day 5: Xian-Guilin by flight
Today you will set off to a welcoming local family for a truly unique experience of home-made dishes. If time permits, you can go to market with the host, and also visit the local Mahjong House to feel the Chinese senior life. After lunch, your guide will take you to theGreat Mosque, one of China’s largest mosques, and the Muslim Street to admire the exotic religious architecture and Muslim culture. After the trip, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Guilin, the most scenic city in China. 
Upon arrival, your local guide will greet you and escort you to the hotel. The rest of day is yours for rest or explore the city on your own.

Day 6: Guilin

It is a relaxing day begins with the one-of-a-kind Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. The crystal Li River lined with peaks and pinnacles make visitors a feeling of stepping into a traditional Chinese painting. After checking in to your hotel, you will enjoy thecountryside tour by private vehicle (about 1-2 hours). It’s a fantastic way to discover the non-commercial villages, meet locals and feel the essential rustic life.

Day 7: Guilin-Hangzhou
Today, you will be driven back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive), where you will tour Elephant Trunk Hill, and the Pearl Shop before your guide escorts you to the airport for flight to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, be met and escorted to the hotel.

Day 8: Hangzhou-Suzhou
After breakfast, you will enjoy leisurely time by rowing on the tranquil West Lake or riding along the beautiful lakefront on electromobile, viewing the beautiful Buddhist sculptures and immersing in the peaceful atmosphere at Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak. Later take a walk in the picturesque Dragon Well Tea Plantation and learn more about Chinese tea culture.You will be escorted to the train station for high-speed train to Suzhou.Upon arrival, transferred to hotel.

Day 9:Suzhou-Shanghai
Today's excursion will bring you to the Suzhou Museum and enjoy the gentle breeze while cruise onthe Grand Canal. After lunch, you will have a tour to the quiet Lingering Garden and the Pan Gate. Later visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a small cocoon.Then transfer to Shanghai,the largest city in China.

Day 10: Shanghai
Today’s tour will take you to the Shanghai Museum to learn about the fascinating civilization. Walk along the less-traveled Shanghai Urban Area (about 1 hour light walking) through the Maoming Road, Bugaoli old buildings and Fuxing Park, with stops to wander through timeless hidden part of the city. Continue to explore theFormer French Section and witness the skyline of Shanghai city on the 100th floor of Shanghai Financial Center.

Day 11:Shanghai
Today you will be introduced to the historic Zhujiajiao Water Town(50 minute drive from Shanghai). At Zhujiajiao, you will walk through Fangsheng Bridge, Beida Street, and the Kezhi Garden. You will feel as though you have stepped back in time in this beautiful village. After that, you will be driven back to downtown hotel.

Day 12: Shanghai/ Departure
