Luocheng Ancient Town

Luocheng Ancient Town is located in the northeastern part of Jianwei County, 60km away from Leshan City, Sichuan Province. The ancient street of Liangting Street is commonly known as “Ship-shaped Street” and was built in the first year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1628). Today, this surviving old street still retains some of the humanistic features of the old Sichuan culture in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

When the local people suffered from water shortage and life was extremely inconvenient, they could not help but read a few words. To get the water into the river, Luocheng repairs the boat. The boat is in the water, and there is a boat with water.” The locals actually decided that the renovation of the building is a good way to solve the problem of water shortage, so they donated money to build it. The result is this world. Rare town.

This boat-shaped ancient town is more than 2,000 meters long and 650 meters wide. The main street is north-south, with narrow ends and a spacious middle. The street is undulating, just like the deck in the waves; the street theater is towering, like a tall sail. The Linguan Temple at the end of the street is like the cabin of a ship. On both sides of the street, there is a row of corridors about 200 meters long and about 6 meters wide. It is like a boat canopy, also known as "the boat hall street."
