Huilong Park


Founded in 1965, Huilong Park is named after Huilong Hill. It is located on the bank of Zi River in west of Yiyang City. Covering a total area of 18.600 square kilometers,this is a park with historical relics and garden constructions. Whats more, it is also a place with dense plants and ancient trees.

What to see?
In the park, there are lots of sightseeings, such as Xixia Temple, Monk Yuyuan's Tomb,Bajiao Pavilion, Liujiao Pavilion, etc.
Xixia Temple is an ancient temple with over 1,500 years history. The temple was built by the famous Buddhism master Shirumetuo who was from India in the East-Jin Dynasty(373-396). Pei Xiu, The prime minister of the Tang Dynasty(618-906), usually visited  the temple when he made speeches in Yiyang. The Monk Yuyuan's Tomb is near to the temple.
Rebuilt in 2005, Huilong Park becomes a beautiful park, as well as a must-see place for tourists  in Yiyang City.
