Geng Chuangong Ancestral Hall is located at Longxingao Village in Fenglin Town, Liling City. Built in 1861 (the 11th year of Xianfeng Empeor in Qing Dynasty), the ancestral hall is a brick-wood structure with a small green tile roof. It consists of the main hall, left and right side halls, and left and right chambers. It covers an area of 3500 square meters and a building area of 2356 square meters.

Geng Biao, a famous general of the PLA, was the eighteenth generation of Geng's. He was born here on August 28, 1909, and lived there with his family for twelve years. It was an important place for his childhood life, study and labor.

After repaired by the Liling Municipal Government the, the  Geng Chuan Gong Ancestral Hall was opened to the public in December 2013. Today, the Geng Chuangong Ancestral Hall is an outstanding representative of Liling Ancestral House and part of the agricultural culture display area of Liling City.
