The Show of Sitting Girls , also known as the show of Zomei 坐妹, is performance presents one aspect of Dong Ethnic Minority culture. It is performed in a building constructed like a bird nest in Sanjiang County in the evening. Zuomei Performance starting at 8:30 pm and lasting 70 minutes presents how boys and girls fall in love and how a grand wedding of Dong Ethnic people is held. After watching the performance,you can get deeper understanding of Dong Ethnic Minority culture.

The large-scale Dong Ethnic people's performance "Sitting Girl"  is created by the Sanjiang Dong Scenic Area to present the mysterious style of the Dong people's folk custom,such as singing songs at night, marrying and wedding. It also shows the unique charm of the traditional music presented by reeds, wood leaves, ox-legs Qing and pipa, as well as show the Dong people's beautiful Doyle dance, traditional dressing. The whole program is full of rural flavor and pastoral flavor, reflecting the high unity of nationality, artistry and appreciation.

"Here, the mountains and rivers are beautiful, the people are outstanding; here the songs is lasting, the Drum Tower is towering..." The performance of the "Sitting Girl" not only highlights the original Sanjiang Dong Ethnic area, but also the Sanjiang "Bird's Nest" by means of marriage and love, labor, song and dance. The unique Drum Tower, Wind and Rain Bridge and Hanging House are set in the background of the unique Dong people's architecture. The panorama reproduces the traditional custom of the Dong people's “sitting girl”, allowing the audience to experience the purest style.

With the help of modern high-tech expression techniques, the traditional culture of the Dong nationality is perfectly combined with modern civilization, and efforts are made to create an original audio-visual feast of the Dong ethnic style, reflecting the simplicity, beauty, romance and mystery of the Dong culture. "Sitting Girl" is not only a colorful display of the Dong people's customs, but also a hymn of Sanjiang's economic development, national harmony, social openness and beautiful ecology.
