Baishajing Mosque Changsha


Baishaling Mosque is the Islamic church in Changsha City. It is just around the corner from Baisha Ancient Well. The temple was first built in Tang Dynasty(618-907) and was rebuilt and removed for many times. It is a green, white dome-capped and three-floorbuilding contrasts sharply with the modern architecture. 

Now the temple covers an area of 1,500 square meters. The temple is a three-floor building. Its architectural design is Arabic architectural style with conical roof, and white outer walls. The first floor is the activity hall for Hui people to hold religious activities. Gust house and office room are set up in the second floor. The third floor is the prayer hall. The Muslim festivals will be celebrated in the temple. It is the headquarter of Islamic Association in Hunan province.
