Zhubaowan Scenic Spot is located in Shuangyun Village,the score of Zhangjiajie 48-Stockade Scenic Area in east of Zhangjiajie City's Cili County.Zhubaowan means "the pearl canyon" because it was said that lots of treasures and pearls were hidden here by Li Zicheng,  a famous leader to organize the peasants up-rising and  end the Ming Dynasty in 1644.Zhubaowan Scenic Spot is famous for its unique beautiful mountains,historical and cultural relics,as well as crystal water.A cleaning stream runs from Taiping Mountain and snakes about 2km in the canyon.Entering the canyon,you will be got many attractions in your eyes.

Tang Dynasty Curvings

The curvings are clearly to see on the stone in a small hole of the cliff.These words were curved by the two Generals Qin Zhao and Qin Weishen in the Gaungqi 1st year of the Emperor Xizong(in 886 AD) during the Tang Dynasty(618 AD-907 AD).It was recorded that this place was once an important military base to have seven stockades in the Tang Dynasty.Here is the charactors to curve in Chinese.“光启元年十二月，为朗州雷尚书兵马侵扰，遂部领兵士三千余人，在此山屯驻。立七重寨栅。至二年三月，累得荆南，差大将送官告，并慰喻将士。其山号为见明山，以澧、朗二州为界。其年六月十九日，节度游卒将充都兵典覃焽题记。”and more“节度总管充诸军押领将尹由，节度兵马使、银青光禄大夫检校史、于宾客国并消充两界卒使专知、后四镇务兼御史中丞柱国覃为胜。”

The General Peak

The Cuckoo Peak

In the 48-Stockade Scenic area,there are cuckoos and azaleas.Both of them are the herald of spring.Look, this stone peak looks like a huge cuckoo that is crying for spring,and some azaleas are here at their brightest enven if in winter.

The Natural Stone Bridge

After visiting the Pearl Waterfall, you need to walk hardly along the path on the cliff if you want to see the Natural Stone Bridge. This stone bridge is located on the top of the Pearl Waterfall.With a length of 10 meters,the huge stone was formed a large natural hole.In the past years, some local people once got there so as to seek the place where Li Zicheng hide his pearls and treasures.But they had nothing to get at last.Where is the palace to hide the treasures? It is also a mystery until today.

The Crown Stockade

Standing on the Natural Bridge, you can see a unique stone peak which is located on the top of the Jianming Mountain in Zhaobaowan Canyon.you are easily to see that it just like the emperor's crown. So it is called as the Crown Stockade by local people. And it is regarded as one of the 48 stockades in the area.Under the Crown Stockade, some stone peaks stand on the slope of the mountain to make the scence more amazing.
