Zhangjiajie Municipal Museum is a complex museum which is nearby Dayongqiao Park in Zhangjiajie City. With a total area of 23 acres and a total construction area of 15,395 square meters, it can accommodate 2000 people  for visiting at the same time.

Zhangjiajie Museum includes four exhibition halls, such as  the historical and cultural relics exhibition hall, the intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, the geology exhibition hall and the urban construction exhibition hall. Zhangjiajie Museum is a large-scale comprehensive museum, which mainly displays the geological features of important historical, artistic, scientific and historical relics, ethnic cultural relics, revolutionary cultural relics, and core scenic spots that have been excavated, solicited, and accepted in zhangjiajie city over the years. In addition to the four major exhibition halls and collection areas, the Zhangjiajie Museum also has a multimedia demonstration hall and an academic lecture hall.
