Immortal Turtle in the Mist
The sight-seeing of Immortal Turtle in the Mist is one of the top ten attractions in the Yellow Stone Village Scenic Spot,
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
The Immortal Turtle in the Mist is situated in the west part of the Yellow Stone Village. It is an oval rock that is in the shape of a huge turtle, and it is abut 5 meters (5.4 yards) long, 2 meters (2.2 yards) wide and 2 meters (6.6 feet) high crouching on the top of the peak.
Look at it, the head of the turtle is bulging forward with the tail rising slightly and the claws twisting together, which seems to be creeping slowly when the weather is cloudy and misty, and it is very fascinating to watch the scenery in an aesthetic way, so the rock is called the Immortal Turtle in the Mist by the later generation.
