Zhangjiajie is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious region. It is known as the “Wudang Mountain in South China”, as well as Wulei Mountain. Xingde Mountain features the ancient building complex of Xingzi Palace.These ancient buildings are made of purple sandrock which is easy to access on the mountain.

In 2002, the temple was rebuilt on the basis of the original site with an area of 5 acres, and featured by the overhanging eaves and uplifting angles. It adopts an official style of the Qing Dynasty and the buildings in the Temple compare well with the famous classical houses at home. There are many exquisite halls and pagodas carved with sculptures. Tianmen Mountain Temple temple enshrines one of the five relics of Sakyamuni Buddha in China.

Puguang Temple,普光禅寺,is located in Jiefang Road, Yongding District of Zhangjiajie City.  It is a temple with a long history and a reputation for broadcasting. Puguang Temple covers a total area of ​​8,618 square meters, and is dedicated to the five ancestral temples of the Buddhist monasteries. The resident monks reach 50-100 people. In addition to presiding over and managing the temple, they also govern nearly 100 temples in the original Dayong.

Baofeng Temple is located in Baofeng Mountain. According to the record, Baofeng Temple was originally built as a Taoist shrine in the Song Dynasty(907-1279), and it was once rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty (1644_1911) . The entire construction of the temple is hanging above the cliff, which was one of the famous Taoist shrines in ancient times.
